TODAY a Gingerland man is still counting his lucky stars after he got away with minor injuries in an attempted robbery at Stanley’s Gas Station in Church Ground, Nevis.
On Wednesday (Apr. 18), at around 7:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the gas station.Police’s investigations revealed that a masked gunman attempted to rob the gas station. One of the attendants, 50-year-old Stephen Moore of Rices, Gingerland ran for safety, but was shot in the arm by the assailant.
The gunman reportedly then fled the scene.Moore was transported in a private vehicle to the Alexandra Hospital where he was treated for his injury.
