New NIA Cabinet begins work today

Basseterre, St. Kitts, 25th December, 2017 (MyVueNews.com) – On the eve of Christmas 2017, a new cabinet has been sworn into office of the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), in a ceremony held at the Elquemedo Willett Park in Charlestown.

Officiating at the ceremony were Governor-General Sir Tapley Seaton and Resident Judge Pearletta Lanns, who administered the oaths and presented the appointments to office.

As premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley was appointed Minister of Finance, Statistics, Economic Planning, Education, Library Services, Human Resources, Industry, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Health, Tourism and Information Technology, Public Utilities and Energy and Foreign Investments.
