SKN not ranked in latest FIBA Ratings

THE International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has released its latest world rankings, but St. Kitts and Nevis is not on the list which includes 15 Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) nations.

In the latest world rankings released on Wednesday (Oct. 11), only 15 Caribbean  Basketball  Confederation nations were rated on the list with Puerto Rico taking the position.Puerto Rico is ranked 15th, Dominican Republic 17th, US Virgin Islands 51st, Bahamas 59th, Cuba 60th, Jamaica 68th, Antigua 76th, British Virgin Islands 92nd, Barbados 97th, St. Vincent and the Grenadines 100th,  Bermuda 109th, Guyana 110th.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Federation indicated that it had launched its “new FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by Nike”.The world governing body for the sport stated that the new innovative game-based ranking, factors in results from official games played by 149 national teams and would be updated after every window of qualifiers and following the conclusion of top official FIBA competitions.
