Two persons have been held for questioning for the brutal shooting of a 19-year-old in Nevis on Friday.
While no charges have been laid, WINN understands the men are assisting police with the investigation into the death of Jamie Chapman of Clay Ghaut.
At about 9:45 pm on Friday police responded to a report of a shooting at Clay Ghaut they said and enquiries led them to the home of 32-year-old Kimron Lawrence in Chicken Stone. When they arrived, they found Chapman’s lifeless body lying in the yard with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head. One Ruger Revolver loaded with five rounds of ammunition and one spent shell was found on the scene next to the body.
