Hundreds of children across St. Kitts will once again learn about the importance of being safe during the holidays and in their everyday lives as the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services (SKNFRS) hosts its 17th Annual Summer Safety Programme. The popular five-day camp begins on Monday, July 15, 2019, and will be held at the fire stations at Basseterre, Tabernacle and Sandy Point.

This year, parents have been asked to help share some of the enormous cost of staging the camp by paying a registration fee. Camp Coordinator Fire Sub Station Officer (FSSO) Davron Clarke said the parents embraced the need to help share some of the financial costs that have been carried largely by the SKNFRS.
