Authorities AT RLB International Airport In St.Kitts Successfully Test Emergency Response Plan

Airport authorities could be meeting as early as this week to tweak their emergency response plan after it was tested over the weekend.St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) officials at the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw (RLB) International Airport took the lead in executing a simulation of a plane crash on Saturday, June 09.

In the simulation, the circumstances were that a Boeing 763 aircraft, with 290 passengers and crew members was en route to Antigua and Barbuda from Puerto Rico and made a crash landing just short of the runway after both engines failed. The scene was set with the use of actors who played the roles of victims.
