Brothers Facing Charges For Schoolyard Fight

The two teenage brothers who beat up a fellow female student at the Charlestown Secondary School a few weeks ago could be facing criminal charges.Nevis Premier Mark Brantley said the police have been investigating the incident which he said embarrassed the entire island.

“I’m advised that the police are engaged in this matter and obviously I can’t comment on that aspect of things but I’m told the police are prepared to lay charges to it.”The Premier said in these instances persons rush to judgment that the offenders came from “a bad home”. He said in this case, both sets of parents condemned the violence.
