BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POPULAR telecommunication giant, Cable and Wireless Business yesterday (Nov. 17) held a one-day workshop geared towards assisting hoteliers in better understanding the changing trends of customers – and their need for technology.
The workshop, which was held at the Ocean Terrace Inn, saw the presence of a number of representatives from the hotel sector on St. Kitts.
FLOW St. Kitts’ General Manager, David Lake explained that they believe it is an import event, as Cable and Wireless has been providing unparalleled service to the hospitality industry across the region.
To that end, he stressed that the time is now for St. Kitts and Nevis to experience the hospitality excellence.
“What we are doing basically is using technology to allow hotel and resort operators to deliver a superior product, a superior guest experience. Ours is a service that is backed by reliability,” he stated.
He continued by pointing out that they are changing the way hotel and resort operators think about technology across the region as a business enabler to provide an enhance service.
According to Cable and Wireless Business’ Sales Engineer Manager for the Caribbean, Shelton Flash – who conducted the session – his main aim was to ensure that hoteliers understand the demographics of guests who are visiting their hotels, and exactly what it is that they want from a guest experience perspective.
