Cayon ready to compete in club shield

THE FLOW Cayon 4G Rockets are prepped and ready to make a strong run at the 2018 Caribbean Club Shield tournament in the Dominican Republic.
According to club Secretary, Andy Blanchette, he is confident that the Cayon Football Club can advance to the semi-finals and even the finals of the competition.The inaugural Caribbean Shield competition pits 12 of the region’s top champion clubs against each other, with a view to qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League.
“A newly launched championship forming the base of the CONCACAF club competition platform, the Caribbean Club Shield features twelve teams from twelve different Member Association leagues, all of which are working with CONCACAF’s Development Department towards a long-term vision to professionalize the club game across the region.
