CCM confident of landslide victory in Local Elections

CANDIDATES of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) are confident of retaining governance of Nevis whenever elections are called.

Pushing their positive attitude, officials in the party believe they would not only win, but would do so by taking all five seats on offer at the elections.CCM’s Executive member and Junior Minister in the Nevis Island Assembly, Hazel Brandy-Williams told SKNVibes yesterday (Nov. 1) that it is a known fact that elections are looming.
She reminded that the party had its convention over the weekend, stating that it was a huge success where the leadership baton was handed over. However, no date has been set and Brandy-Williams noted that there needs to be an initial meeting between the new leader of the party and the outgoing one.
