Commends Premier Amory
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FORMER Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas has expressed congratulations to the new leader of the Concern Citizens Movement (CCM), Hon. Mark Brantley for his ascendency to the helm of that party.
“I should use this opportunity to express my congratulations to Mark Brantley for taking the leadership of the CCM from Vance Amory,” Douglas told SKNVibes News.
At the CCM’s Convention held at the Nevis Performing Arts Center (NEPAC) on Sunday (OCT. 29), Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Vance Amory symbolically handed over the party’s hammer to Deputy Premier Hon. Mark Brantley.
Amory had been at the helm of the party for close to 30 years.
During the interview with SKNVibes, Dr. Douglas offered words of commendation to Amory for the work he did over the years to get the party elected in the local elections.
