ECCB Earns $10.8 Million Dollar Profit

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) is reporting that for the year ending 31 March 2018, it had earned a profit of $10.8 million dollars, an increase of $4.4 million dollars or 70.3 percent, when compared with the previous financial year.According to the Bank’s Report and statement of accounts for the year ending March 31, 2018.

Domestic Assets, however, decreased by $1.5 million dollars percent.Total Liabilities expanded by $123.6 million dollars, 2.6 per cent over the previous year. The most significant increases in this category were reflected in Currency in Circulation, $95.5 million, Eastern Caribbean Securities Registry account, $60.7 million and Bankers’ Collateral accounts, $41.5 million.
