Gov’t Anticipates $784M In Revenue For 2019

Against the backdrop of a projected increase in expenditure for 2019, the government is also expecting revenues to rise.According to the 2019 budget address presented by Minister of Finance Prime Minister Timothy Harris on Wednesday, Recurrent Revenue for the 2019 fiscal year is projected to be $749.3 million dollars.

Taxes on Income are expected to generate $126.9 million dollars. Taxes on Property are expected to reach $16.6 million dollars, and Taxes on Domestic Goods and Consumption would be $108.7 million dollars.Taxes on International Trade and Transactions, the largest subcategory of Tax Revenue.
