THE POSITION

We are recruiting a qualified Stock Administrator for our Logistics and Distribution Center. The incumbent is responsible for assisting with storage, security, distribution, and reconciliation of Company’s stock. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating work with colleagues, provide training when required and ensure high levels of motivation and commitment with the logistics and distribution team, as well as manage the daily operations of the Bargain Centre.

The successful candidate will have key accountabilities as follows:

• Reconcile stock at all perpetuals, quarters, and year-end stock-takes.

• Verify correct postings of Stock Transfer Notes and Goods Received from Supplier and assist with inputs when required.

• Liaise with Sales Branch and Accounts Departments to ensure all un-posted stock transfer notes & write offs are posted and entries are correct, in the absence of the L&D Admin.

• Recheck all STN postings done by the warehouse Admin, responsible to ensure postings are correct.

• Conduct checks and labelling of all collections entering and leaving the Distribution Centre using the relevant documentation e.g. Delivery Notes and Stock Transfer Notes.

• Ensure the proper labelling of all returns and damaged items are done in a timely manner.

• Ensure write offs are done on a weekly basis.

• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

• Liaise with IT to resolve poison accounts.

• Manage the daily operations of the Bargain Centre.

• Explain terms and conditions of sales contract to customers.

• Key sales in system and collect personal information from customers on All Hire Purchase accounts

• Provide product information and demonstrate products to customers.

• Assist with investigating the outstanding delivery report sent by Audit/Cosacs Manager and forward findings to the Logistics and Distribution Manager.

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the systems, policies, and procedures of Courts.

THE CANDIDATE

Education and Experience:

• Diploma in Business Administration
