Liburd, Brantley Clash Over Canada Visa Issue

Labour Party MP Marcella Liburd says Canada’s latest immigration policy requiring citizens from countries needing visas to enter its borders, including nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis, is proof that when Canada revoked the federation’s visa waiver in 2014, it had nothing to do with then Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas’ alleged mishandling of the Citizenship by investment program.

Affairs Mark Brantley, informed that as of December SKN nationals requiring Canadian visas would have to travel to the Canadian embassy in Trinidad as opposed to applying for the visa online.Brantley maintained that had it not been for the break-down in diplomacy between the then governments of St. Kitts and Nevis.
