WITH much of the United States East Coast under a deep freeze resulting from the passage of a ‘bomb cyclone’ dubbed Winter Storm Grayson’, local airline representatives for carriers out of the US are keeping a close watch on the weather.
According to information coming out of the United States, airlines have been cancelling a number of domestic and international flights, with one report indicating at least 4000, owing to whiteout conditions.General Manager for Airport Operation at TDC Airline Service, Sharlene Herbert told SKNVibes News that they are currently monitoring the situation.
She explained that though the storm would have affected some aspects of Florida, they did not see any cancellations out of that location.She however informed, that any East Coast cancellation would be known by tomorrowAZ.
