Majority of AIDS Cases in SKN Are Men

Since the first case of HIV was diagnosed in St. Kitts and Nevis in the early 1980s there have been over 400 cases reported.

National AIDS Coordinator Gardenia Destang- Richardson says the statistics reveal that the number of men diagnosed with the disease in the federation is almost double that of women and twice as many men have died from HIV/AIDS.
