St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Police in a statement said that Glenroy Samuel of Conaree was formally charged with a warrant on April 24, 2019. Information obtained by WINN FM suggests that Francis was allegedly stabbed as he left the locker room following a football game at Warner park on Saturday.

Member of Parliament for Constituency Three, Konris Maynard, indicated that the perpetrator allegedly chased after Francis and stabbed him before jumping into a getaway vehicle.

In a statement, the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association said it strongly condemns the stabbing incident, which took place on Saturday 20 April 2019, following the conclusion of the National Bank Premier League match Rams Village Superstars vs. SOL IAS Conaree.
