EDUCATION MINISTER, Shawn Richards says that his ministry is heartened that during the recently concluded CTU/ICT Week in St. Kitts and Nevis attention was paid to persons with disabilities.

Addressing reporters at the prime minister’s monthly press conference, the minister welcomed the move by the regional ICT body.He explained that when it comes to the decisions with ICTs and the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School, they are often guided by the requisite technical persons within the Ministry of Education.
“They of course would look at the technology that is available and make the determination as to how that can be of use to the persons attending that institution and then forward a report and recommendation to the necessary personnel in the Ministry of Education.”
