(ZIZ News) – Diplomatic Week 2016 will be observed in St. Kitts and Nevis from April 3-8, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Mark Brantley has revealed that plans are progressing smoothly for the staging.

He said the week promotes the sharing of ideas among the federation’s top foreign diplomats on ways to move the country forward.

He added that it also provides honorary consuls, who have never been to the federation, an opportunity to visit the country they represent.

“Diplomats Week is designed to bring our people together, bring our various diplomats serving overseas so that they can meet each other and so that they can interact with the various diplomats here because remember we have diplomats from other countries who are here, those who are honorary and our locals,” the minister said.
