PLP National Executive and members attend worship service at Word of Life New Testament Church of God

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, July 10, 2017 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Prime Minister and Political Leader of the Peoples Labour Party (PLP), Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, has thanked the Word of Life New Testament Church of God on Central Street in Basseterre for welcoming the PLP Leadership and Membership to worship in its sanctuary.

Dr Harris made the remarks on Sunday July 9 when he was invited by Bishop Matthew Hepburn to greet the congregation. He was accompanied by the PLP’s Deputy Political Leader, and Deputy Speaker Senator the Hon Akilah Byron-Nisbett, and other members of the PLP Executive and Membership. They were joined by His Excellency Ambassador Michael Powell.

“I wish to say a hearty thank you to this church for its warm welcome it has given to us each and every time we have come to worship with you,” said the Prime Minister. “On behalf of all of us who have gathered visiting today, I say thank you.”

He introduced other members of PLP National Executive who were with him, including the National Secretary Ms Myrtilla Williams, Deputy National Chairman Mr Craig Tuckett, Deputy National Secretary Mr Christophe Greaux, PLP Women’s Arm Representative Mrs Sonia Henry, PLP Youth Arm Representative Mr Manasses Huggins, and PLP Number Two Branch Chairman Mr Cante Bowry.
