St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Prime Minister Timothy Harris says he is committed to doing two terms as the country’s head of government.
Proposed two-term limit legislation has to date received only its first reading in parliament, with some critics suggesting that this particular election promise is going nowhere fast.
However at Team Unity’s latest Town Hall meeting Tuesday, Dr. Harris said he would honor that promise.
Dr. Harris, the current chairman of CARICOM, has been boasting that St Kitts and Nevis is way more advanced economically than many of its neighbors, under the Team Unity administration.
At a meeting in Canada Sunday with Kittitians and Nevisians resident there, Prime Minister Harris appeared to suggest that the Federation was doing much better than Barbados and Jamaica.[Read More]
