PM Harris’ stellar leadership on Venezuela matter when he served as CARICOM Chairman publicly acknowledged at 31st Inter-Sessional Meeting

Basseterre,St.Kitts February 18th, 2020 (SKNVIBES)

The 31st Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) opened today, Tuesday, February 18th, 2020, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados, with Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris’ leadership on the Venezuela matter being publicly acknowledged near the outset by immediate past Chairman of CARICOM, Prime Minister the Honourable Allen Chastanet of Saint Lucia.

The immediate past Chairman of CARICOM also recognized the Prime Ministers of Barbados (the Honourable Mia Mottley) and Trinidad (Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley) who, during the height of the crisis in Venezuela last year, provided then-CARICOM Chairman, Prime Minister Harris with ancillary support.
