Prime Minister Harris lobbies for full regional support at UN High-Level Meeting on NCDS in September

The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, used the recently concluded Thirty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) from July 4-6 to advance discussions on the prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the Caribbean region.

At the UN meeting, world leaders are expected to undertake a comprehensive review of the global and national progress achieved in putting measures in place that protect people from dying too young from heart and lung diseases, cancers and diabetes.
