Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 2, 2019 (SKNVIBES)

FOLLOWING several weeks of tumult at the St. Kitts-Nevis Athletics, formerly St. Kitts-Nevis Athletics Association, Association, a new president and executive members have taken up their positions.
Delwayne Delaney has been selected to lead the Association while  Dwayne Warner has been identified as the Vice President, Damon Bacchus as General Secretary and Patrice Harris as the Public Relations Officer. The four positions were made vacant earlier this  year when the Public Relations Officer tendered his resignation, citing challenges with personal commitments and work load, while the Vice President vacated his position due to conflicts between himself and the then President, Val Henry.
In September, a special general meeting saw member clubs successfully passing a no-confidence motion in President Henry and General Secretary Keithley Phillip. That motion had left the Association without several important members.A statement from the Association said that it has appointed four new members to fill the vacant roles of President, Vice President, Public Relations Officer and General Secretary.
