SKN Captures Four medals at CARIFTA Games

THE team from St. Kitts and Nevis that competed at the 2018 CARIFTA Games in Nassau, ended the top regional meet with four medals.
The team bagged one Gold medal and three Bronze at the end of the four-day junior athletics extravaganza.Stand-out athlete for the St. Kitts and Nevis team was 13-year-old Trishanni Warner, who took gold in the Girls Under-17 800 meters, in 2:15.73 seconds.
Vice president of the St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur Athletics Association (SKNAAA), Evris Huggins told SKNVibes Sports that overall the team performed “favourably well”.The performance, he reminded, is the country’s best since the hosting of the 2015 Games.
