St. Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Sports Deputy Prime Minister Shawn Richards has confirmed with WINN FM that St. Kitts and Nevis will be hosting CPL matches this summer. He said the dates will be revealed when the season schedule is finalized.The Hero Caribbean Premier League, CPL, is in full preparation for its 6th season this summer, reporting an increase in the number of cricketers registering for the March 1st.

According to the CPL the number of players that have put their names forward for the draft has increased, as has the number of countries from which the overseas players are from.There has been a 36% increase in player registrations overall from a total of 18 countries, with a total of 227 overseas players registering for the draft, an increase from 151 from last year.
