SKN students safe following Taiwan’s earthquake

THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that none of the federation’s students currently in Taiwan were injured in yesterday’s earthquake.
Permanent Secretary in that Ministry, Kay Bass gave that confirmation to SKNVibes News today.“ the Ministry would have spoken to our Ambassador this morning in Taiwan and she has indicated that the students are fine.”Though the Asian nation has been seen frequent earthquakes in recent times, the latest caused serious damage.
According to reports out of Taipei, a magnitude 6.4 quake struck the island-nation in the wee hours of yesterday.The latest report indicates that quake occurred in the northeastern city of Hualien, where a number of the federation’s students are residents.
