St. Kitts-Nevis Government sensitizes public officials with integrity in public life act as part of Good Governance Agenda

About 150 senior public servants, as well as ministers of government and key heads of statutory corporations gathered at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Thursday, July 12, to engage in a forum on matters relating to the Integrity in Public Life Act, No. 18 of 2013 and its impact on the public offices that they hold.The purpose of the Act is to make provision for a Code of Conduct.

Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, the Honourable Vincent Byron, said that Integrity in Public Life (IPL) Act is vital, hence the importance of moving forward with it. He added that it is very important to establish that the public service is an honourable.
