St. Kitts-Nevis Government thanks Venezuelan government for partnering with its social programme of providing homes

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has expressed its gratitude to the Government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for partnering with it under the social assistance initiative in providing homes for those in need.Constituency representative for East Basseterre, The Honourable Ian “Patches” Liburd, at an official and symbolic turning of soil ceremony held on June 28.

“I want to thank the president, foreign minister and people of Venezuela for continuing to assist us,” he said, while noting that the government had a commitment to improve the living conditions for the people in East Basseterre, which is now being made possible with the help of Petrocaribe.
