Sugar Boyz draw with French Guiana in Nations League

A late strike from Rowan Liburd ensured that the St. Kitts-Nevis Sugar Boyz secured a point from their second game in the CONCACAF Nations League.

Playing at the Warner Park Football Stadium on Sunday evening (Sept. 8), the Sugar Boyz drew 2-2 with French Guiana.The visitors drew first blood through Carino Atchaliso in the 34th minute, but four minutes into the second half, the equalizer came off the boot of  Gvaune Amory.
However, a defensive blunder saw the Frenchmen taking a 2-1 lead when Alex Eric netted in 50th minute.Liburd then equalized the score in the 75th minute to give the Sugar Boyz their first point of the Nations League competition.The Sugar Boyz had suffered a 2-1 defeat in their opening game against the Grenadians in St. George’s.
