Teams awaiting date for SKNABA finals

St. Kitts – NO official dates have been identified for the staging of the finals of the A Division of the St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur Basketball Association’s (SKNABA) league.

Officials at the Sandy Point PRIDE Organization, which has been at the center of a controversy with the Association, confirmed that they have not received any notification from the body on when the best-of-three finals would be played against the Achievers Wolf Pack. That statement comes several weeks after the PRIDE team won a court case against the SKNABA, after they were told that they were to replay their semi-finals – despite winning 2-0.

The PRIDE official, speaking on condition of anonymity, explained that the team has not gotten any documentation and because of that, the finals would not be played anytime soon.“The court had indicated that we must be given two weeks’ notice for the playing of the games, so it’s not anytime soon,” the official said.
