Thirty In Training To Become Island Constables

Thirty individuals on Monday began training to become Island Constables as part of the government’s push to increase law enforcement and security personnel presence in tourist hotspots.The recruits will undergo one month of training in the areas of law, report writing and statement taking, according to National Security Adviser.

“Your training is going to involve the law, writing of reports, taking statements, it’s going to improve your powers of observation, it’s going to ensure that you know how to interact properly with people. You must know the history of St Kitts and Nevis and particularly the history of the history of the tourism industry in your nation.
