BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THREE men of Challenger’s Village, who were charged with the murder of George Livingston Queeley, will have to stand trial for the offence at the September Criminal Assizes following a decision made at the preliminary inquiry (PI).

The men, Keith ‘Zion’ Murray, Denroy ‘Barber’ Simmonds and Nicholas Riley, recently appeared at the District ‘B’ Magistrate’s Court for the PI hearing, and the presiding Magistrate, having been satisfied that there was sufficient evidence, pronounced that they stand trial at the next Criminal Assizes.

Queeley went missing in late January 2011 and his remains were discovered in the Challenger’s Mountain area on Thursday, November 14, 2013 during a joint operation between members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force.
